I painted this piece of Island Pond, NY while sitting on a rock and eating sour gummies in the shade. It was created "en plein air," meaning outside (in real-time) in the setting that is shown.
This painting traveled with me in my backpack for hundreds of miles until I could send it home with a stack of other paintings. It was originally created on a 3.5" x 4"-piece of watercolor paper with a paint set that was the size of the palm of my hand.
Print is 12" x 18" on thick matte paper.
