I painted this scene "en plein air" during an afternoon lunch break next to the famous "Secret Shelter" accompanied by a placid donkey.
This painting traveled with me in my backpack for hundreds of miles until I could send it home with a stack of other paintings. It was originally created on a 3.5" x 4"-piece of watercolor paper with a paint set that was the size of the palm of my hand.
This piece is printed on thick matte paper. Additional details below:
